What is precision CNC machining?
CNC systems differ in their configurations—some integrate all necessary tools into a single unit, while others consist of separate, tool-specific modules connected via external controllers. Despite these structural variations, all modern CNC systems automate the design and manufacturing processes for machined parts.
CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software defines the physical dimensions and boundaries of the final product. CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software then converts these specifications into actionable manufacturing instructions. Finally, post-processing software translates these instructions into machine-specific code, which is loaded into the CNC system for execution.
